  1. I believe you can purchase a HSA (health savings account) even if you’re not a business owner/employer. When I quite my job three months after I lost my health insurance, unless I wanted to get the Corbra plan, which that was still very expensive.

    Six months later I ended up getting an HSA before I became self employed. This was several years ago, therefore I’m not sure if these policies are still the same or have changed.
