Health care has been a big debate ever since Ronald Reagan was in office and it has taken more than enough years to try to get it under control. Now that we do have a process and a bill that has been voted upon in our congress, it is essential to try to cooperate and compromise to decide on a smarter solution for everyone to benefit from. The truth is that we need a better health care system that caters to everyone and not just those who can purchase it. Thus, we will have to make some sacrifices to make it all work.
Having lived without coverage for some time now, I am all to aware of this. When I had a gash along my finger that took for stitches to close, my ER bills were astronomical and I had to file for economic hardship just to be able to pay. I couldn’t imagine what the bills would look like if it were something more serious.
